Both Winona and Fred believe in implementing principles of truth as quickly as they learn them. By putting principles into practice quickly, learning becomes part of who we are. We also gain the benefit of living by correct principles. This has proven very valuable in areas of spiritual, physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Both of us have found our health in all these areas much improved as we incorporate what we learn into our daily practices.
It does take effort to change habits but this has gotten easier for us as we practice the process of change. One of our favorite sayings: “That which we persist in doing becomes easier to do, not that the nature of the thing has changed but that our power to do has increased.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
The principle of applying knowledge has allowed us to rebuild many parts of our bodies including knees, eyes, thyroid, pancreas, bones, and many more examples as we have practiced on ourselves; we have also witnessed the same principles successfully applied by others.
We live this principle of applying what we learn to other areas of our life. For one example, we live in a near zero-energy home that we designed with no air conditioner or furnace that stays comfortable year round. We practice principles of organic gardening and use no chemicals in the yard.
Come to the Wholesome Life, and you will find that we practice well before we teach. We love learning but we also aren't afraid to say "I don't know." We invite you to learn with us and we are happy to learn correct principles with you. Now a little bit about each one of us.
